Browns Hairdressing Group was founded
in 1980 by Sally Brown, and swiftly gained recognition in the surrounding areas. Today there are nine Browns salons across five counties. The Oundle salon opened it’s doors on the 1st November 2022.
What made you choose Oundle area? We chose Oundle as our location for our ninth salon for many reasons. We love it’s quaint market town feel and close community. We open three late nights until 9pm, something Oundle didn’t offer before we arrived.
Favourite salon treatment? That would be the L’Oréal Fusio Dose. These instant conditioning treatments are dual beneficial and can be bespoke mixed to suit all hair needs, leaving hair soft, nourished and shiny.
What is the best thing about your job?
Making clients feel incredible when they leave
the salon. There is nothing more fulfilling than the “Wow!” when a client looks in the mirror. How have you seen styles change recently?
Styles are always changing, however the
biggest change we’ve seen in more recent
years is enhancing the natural hair. Since lockdown when clients were unable to visit
the hairdressers for long periods of time, we’ve found people are embracing their natural colour more than ever. We are colouring to enhance and blend more nowadays than covering up natural colours.
Favourite product on sale? Our favourite products we retail are the Kérastase thermiques. They are a leave in treatment with the added benefit of being a heat protector. Not only do they leave the hair feeling incredible whilst working on the internal structure, they also smell amazing too!
