There are many ways to dispose of garden waste responsibly, here are a few ideas.
Reuse your waste
Use garden waste as mulch to suppress weeds and retain moisture
Start your own compost heap/bin
Layer cardboard, grass clippings, prunings and compost to create 'no dig' growing spaces
Make a deadwood pile or bug hotel
LOOK UP: 'no dig' gardening, composting, compost trenching, bug hotels, dead-hedging
Recycle your waste
If you can't reuse your garden waste please take it to a Household Waste Recycling Centre or arrange a garden waste bin/bag collection from East Northamptonshire Council.
