CENTENARY
Past and Present Centenary Function SSgt Grace Morton
On Saturday 2nd July 2022 the Warrant
Officers’ and Sergeants’ Mess celebrated the RADC Centenary year with past and present members. The function was held
in The Holiday Inn Farnborough on a
sunny Saturday evening. Past and Present members and their guests came together to enjoy food, drink and great entertainment. It was a fantastic way for RADC members to have a good old catch up, as well as meet new and old members. Everyone had a fantastic time and below are some of the quotes from the evening.
“Finally the Centenary celebration for the Corps WOs’ & Sgts’ Mess took place with great success largely attributed to the
organisers Mags Lowther and Grace Morton. It was a great reunion for the attendees with laughter and dancing aplenty. I apologise if I didn’t capture you in the images and for the light quality....strobe disco was to blame. I hope the pics are enjoyable for all...and yes I know I am in most of them”
“Amazing night great to catch up with so many RADC”
“I had the pleasure to attend WOs’ and Sgts’ Past and Present Centenary at the Holiday Inn. We were greeted with a welcome drink and raffle tickets.
The tables were decorated in Corps colours which was a nice little touch. Loved the cupcake corner and most importantly
enjoyed catching up with old and new friends.
My coaster has taken its proud place on my work desk. It was a very good evening and a massive well done to SSgt Grace Morton and Mrs Margaret (Mags) Lowther for a great evening.”
Everyone realised the importance of celebrating the Centenary of the Corps, such a proud moment for all. Even though
it was delayed due to the dreaded COVID pandemic everyone made the most of it when it finally arrived. Here’s to a great night and many more to come. Thank you to all those who attended.
