‘Calling Local Voluntary Organisations’
The Annual Town Meeting will be held at the Plaza on Tuesday 21st April at 7pm (arrival and refreshments from 6.30pm).
We apologise for the incorrect date advertised last month. There will be an opportunity for local voluntary organisations to send a representative (or two) to promote their group/organisation at the meeting. Tables will be available to display leaflets/posters. If your organisation is interested in having a presence at the

meeting please contact the Council
for more details and to advise of your attendance. It’s a great way to attract
new members! Also, if you would like to promote your organisation in the booklet that is distributed on the night please email your text (one side of A5, including logo)
to the Council Office by the 31st March. We would love to hear from you and include you in this promotional literature to showcase what is available in Thrapston.
As part of the Annual Town Meeting we are now asking for nominations for the Town Awards. If you know of a person or group who you believe is worthy of a Town Award for their contributions in the community, please complete the form below and drop it in to the Council office (paper copies of the form can also be obtained from the Council office). The successful nominee(s) will receive an award in recognition of their efforts which will be presented to them at the Annual Town Meeting.
The closing date for nominations is Tuesday 3rd March 2020.

Notice is hereby given that Thrapston Town Council has applied to East Northamptonshire Council for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of the High Street, Thrapston, NN14 4LJ and intends to carry out the following licensable activities; regulated entertainment and sale of alcohol, 08:00 - 00:00.
The licence application may be inspected at the Licensing Authority, East
Northamptonshire Council, Cedar Drive, Thrapston, Northamptonshire, NN14
4LZ during normal office hours. Any representation by a Responsible Authority or Interested Party must be made in writing to the above address by 12th March 2020.
It is an offence to make a false statement in connection with an application punishable on summary conviction of a fine of any amount.
