My approach brings together
nutrition, movement, nature and mental wellbeing, inspired by the evidence-based Mediterranean diet and lifestyle. It’s not just about food; it’s about savouring meals, spending time outdoors and creating space in life for downtime, happiness and connection.
Luckily, our area is rich in green spaces in which to move and recharge. Public footpaths wind through woodlands, fields and open countryside, offering the perfect setting for physical activity and mental restoration. Walking in nature isn’t just good for fitness; it’s a proven way to reduce stress, lift mood
So why not start today? Support a local farmer or producer, try a new recipe with regional ingredients, or lace up your walking boots or trainers and explore a new trail. Health isn’t just about living longer; it’s about living better.
Let me inspire and support you to feel as healthy as nature designed you to be.
LIVING WELL
Eating seasonally
In a world of quick fixes and non-stop lifestyles, there’s a quiet revolution happening: a return to local, seasonal food, good old-fashioned three meals a day, and the restorative power of nature. This way of living nourishes our bodies and strengthens our connection to the land and community.
As a local nutritional therapist and the founder of Nuush, I believe health is about more than
just diet, although that is very important too –
it’s about enjoying a balanced lifestyle rooted in simplicity, sustainability, and happiness.
‘Eating local’ isn’t just about reducing food miles; it’s about enjoying fresher, more nutrient- rich produce whilst supporting local farmers and artisans. Take wild venison and other game, for instance – a lean, sustainable source of protein, rich in iron and B vitamins, often found in our local countryside. Pair it with seasonal vegetables grown in nearby fields, and you have a meal that’s as nourishing as it is delicious.
and reconnect with beauty and naturalness. Whether it’s a stroll with family or a brisk solo hike, run or bike ride, these times in nature are as essential to our wellness as the food we eat.
Or consider locally grown blueberries that grow in our hedgerows. Perfect for brightening a breakfast or snack while reminding us of the beauty of local food. Add staples like free range organic eggs, sourdough bread, or nutrient-rich raw milk from nearby dairies, and you’ll be making the most of what our country has to offer.
Luckily, our area is rich in green spaces in which to move and recharge
Whether the goal is to improve energy, reverse poor-health symptoms, support mental health, or to simply feel better and live more, the focus is on sustainable changes that deliver
big and lasting results. Good health doesn’t have to be complicated – it can be as simple as eating vibrant, seasonal, nutrient-rich meals and spending more time outdoors.
