Oundle Tennis Club
Whether you are a novice, regular or ‘rusty’ player, have a budding tennis star in your family or like social sport, Oundle Tennis Club offers opportunities for all and is offering a 10% discount on annual membership fees for those who join before the end of May.
The club has two mini courts and five full-size floodlit courts which allow play until 9.30pm. Planned clubhouse refurbishments and further court upgrades will further improve the club for players and spectators alike.
Members can book courts online and bring a guest for a small fee. Regular social club sessions and tournaments, a singles ladder and doubles leagues run throughout the year, as do the group and individual lessons along with junior tennis camps led by Level 4 LTA CCA Performance Coach James Muir.
“Tennis is great exercise and can be as social
or as competitive as you choose,” said Jason Atkinson, Club Chairman. “Join the Club and make the most of all it offers. Contact us to arrange a trial session or sign up through our website.”
Forthcoming events include the club’s round of the national LTA competition for juniors: ‘Play Your Way To Wimbledon’ and a ‘tennis taster’ session on Friday 3rd June as part of Oundle’s Jubilee celebrations. Alternatively, there’s off-court fun to be had at the Club quiz on Friday 13th May in Oundle’s Queen Victoria Hall.
