WHEELHOUSE
It feels fitting that I’m writing this article in the first week of a new decade and everywhere you look there is enthusiasm for the decade ahead.
Had you told me a year ago that I’d be running (arguably) the best RoyalYacht Club in the UK, my children will have learnt to sail and that we would own a boat, I would have fallen off my chair laughing!
But that is where we are, and I wouldn’t change a thing!
My first year at the helm of RSYC has been full of fun and challenges and my sights are firmly set on the year ahead. I am determined to put our members at the heart of everything we do, continue to develop our membership offering and ensure that being a part of Royal SouthamptonYacht Club brings our members not only pleasure but also a sense of pride.
The office and Gins team would like
to pass on their thanks for the incredible support and encouragement of our members, Flag Officers and committees – it
really does mean a lot.
I look forward to getting to know all of
you even more in 2020 and amongst my NewYear Resolutions is getting myself out on the water so I’ll see you there (when it’s warmer maybe...).
