WO1 (AcSM) Raymond Huggins
We are sad to report the death of WO1 (AcSM) Ray Huggins. Mr Huggins was a distinguished Grenadier Guard who turned down a commission, having been RSM of his Battalion, to become the Academy Sergeant Major at Sandhurst 1970-1980.
Any alumni aged @60-70 will remember him. Mr Huggins was an in-pensioner at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, and last visited Sandhurst in April 2019 when he was pictured in Old Col- lege Grand Entrance with the Commandant, Maj Gen Paul Nanson and Academy Sergeant Major, WO1 (AcSM) Carl Taylor.
