Last year’s article reflected the frustrations of working under Covid-19 restrictions and this year, although slightly easier than last, it has continued to hamper our work and limit our pro-
gress. But on the positive side we have achieved much in areas where Covid hasn’t reached. Work on the website has progressed well. Those who are interested in the history of our predecessor regiments from 1715 will enjoy the opportunity now offered by the Timeline (under the History tab). This included fascinat- ing extracts of battles, colourful characters, incidents, postings, sporting achievements, events and much more besides. It will be fully completed once more illustrations, photographs and paint- ings drawn from our Archives have been inserted to add colour to the text. With the last serial covering the KRH deployment to Estonia in 2019, we look forward to adding further informa- tion in due course. The present ‘self help’ virtual tour available on the website will be replaced by a professionally delivered product to be completed shortly. It’s hoped that you are all enjoying the regular and fascinating stories of Regimental history/characters included in the Newsletters and on the website, all researched and written by our Museum Assistant Richard Joyner. These have attracted considerable interest and will be continued so long as he has the time.
Increased numbers of visitors to HorsePower from the Regiment have been greatly welcomed, and the RSM is thanked for his encouragement of these visits. Regular visits from Tidworth will always be welcome, as they are from all other nearby military units and educational establishments. Members of the public

remain slow to return to pre-Covid visitor numbers, a theme that is reflected by other museums across the region. We hope that as (post Covid) confidence returns our visitor numbers, and related income, will improve significantly.
Further uniforms (14/20H) have been inspected and assessed for retention/disposal. A significant number will no longer be required so these are now being advertised to other museums for 3 months prior to going for disposal. These will first be offered for sale to the Regimental family, thereafter for public sale. Progress is slow at present as the Hon Curator, with no Asst Regt Sec appointed, has little time to give to museum matters and the Museum Asst already has much on his plate. With trustee sup- port, further investigative work will be conducted on remaining 14/20H items with a view to closing the additional rented store in
