a welcoming place
  Black History Month
Thank you to everyone who took part in celebrating Black History Month in The Hub at Fletton House.
Oundle Town Council set up a competition for Oundle Primary School children to create a fantastic display of Caribbean and African inspired poetry and art, which we displayed in The Hub for everyone to enjoy. Congratulations
to Freya for winning Best Poetry, and to Violet for winning Best Art, and thank you to Colemans for providing the book tokens for their prizes.
Whilst in The Hub the children also enjoyed fruits of the Caribbean provided by Oundle Town Council, some they have never tried before. Thank you to Oundle Library for providing books for the display.
We’re planning on celebrating #BlackHistoryMonth next year and we welcome your ideas. Please send them to morag.horsnail@oundle.gov.uk
