CLOCKING OFF
St James’ Church clock will hopefully be chiming the time again soon. Parts of the mechanism have recently been removed for repair and we hope it will all be reassembled soon.
Thank you to Ray Banner for tolling the church bell on Tuesday 23rd March to mark the anniversary of the start of Lockdown.
ISLIP GARAGE SALE
There will be a Garage Sale
in Islip on Saturday 24th April.
We are hoping to have a stall by the Lych Gate to sell cakes and books.
Anyone who could offer a cake for sale will be greeted with enthusiasm. Please get in touch with a member of the church if you can help. We are hoping to raise funds towards the repairs on the clock.
CHARTER FAIR 2021
Due to current restrictions, we have taken the decision to cancel this years fair on Saturday 26th June.
But we will be keeping an eye on government guidelines, so we may look at having the fair later in the year. More details will follow, watch this space!
THRAPSTON WI
Thrapston WI hope to resume their meetings as soon as COVID restrictions allow and in the meantime welcome members to renew their membership at a greatly reduced annual fee of £25.00.
We welcome new members subject to availability along with visitors, once monthly meetings resume. All renewals to be made asap please. Please contact thrapstonwicontactus@gmail.com
FOODBANK
The FoodBank volunteers are still here to help you even though we cannot currently welcome you inside the building.
If you need our help, either with food or advice or just a friendly chat please give us a call 07907 343373. We are still delivering packages to our clients and keeping in touch via phone calls.
We thank everyone for their donations of food and money. You can drop donations off on Tuesdays between 10am and 3pm to the crates outside the door or at 10 Heron Avenue or 10 Furnace Drive any day.

THRAPSTON
GARAGE SALE
This has been a very challenging year for everyone and we still have a way to go. We have decided to proceed with caution and wait till all restrictions are lifted
in June. We know there are sales going on elsewhere but our priority is to keep Thrapston safe.
So, with advice from local Council ,we will organise a sale as soon as we can. We have people come from far and wide and just want safety to be a priority. We will update next month and hopefully have a date set.
