By carefully reading and comparing each funder’s criteria
(see Part 5), the society applied to the right funder for the right items. Telling the funders about food miles and recycling and composting as Outcomes, and explaining lack of land to grow food in the area as evidence of deprivation, meant the society provided the funder with strong Evidence of Need & Outcomes for their idea.
