This time last year, very few of us would’ve heard the word ‘Covid-19’, but today it’s on everyone’s lips. Infecting many and affecting many more, it does not appear to be going away.
There have been many losses: jobs, security, confidence, and even, tragically, the loss of a loved one.
This world is not how it was meant to be, and we find ourselves longing for something better. In reality, no matter how much things improve, and they will, the significance of the Christmas story will
give us something better to look forward to.
C.S. Lewis wrote,
We were created for another world, a better world, and Jesus came into our world, born as a baby, to show us that.
When we recognise the significance of the Christmas story, we can’t help but realise that, despite Covid-19, there is reason to have hope, there is a reason to celebrate, there is plenty to sing about.
So this Christmas, why don’t you come and join us as we celebrate the good news of a baby born in a manger. He is God with us - the hope of the world.
Why not come and join us this Christmas?
You can join us:
 In person, if we are meeting in the building (Subject to government guidelines – pre-booking
required)
 Or virtually, by clicking the link on our website (www.thrapstonbaptist.co.uk)
Take care and have a great Christmas.
