To finish 2020, the photo above I took 27 years ago of the rather sorry-looking High Street in December 1993. The barrier at the end of Hortons Lane is just visible at the bottom left whilst the row of mews houses is still several years away from construction.
As we come towards the end of one of the strangest years I have ever known, I am looking forward to hopefully returning to a much more normal existence in 2021 and beyond.
As ever, I am so grateful for all the positive comments received about these ‘Glances’. My thanks to June Davy, Editor of Jigsaw, for giving me space each month and to you for reading them.
