While Crazy Hats achieved so much, it has now fulfilled its purpose. It
takes a special sort of courage to recognise that and wind up the charity. The legacy lives on in the changed public perception that cancer can be talked about, not always too seriously, but always with compassion and sensitivity. This book could never have been written while Crazy Hats was so active, as even Glennis could not have found the time and energy. Now she has completed the challenge of this book, we must wonder what the Crazy Lady will do next.
It will be interesting to find out.
