“As the Company for women, Avon is passionate about supporting local causes. For more than twenty years Avon UK has been raising funds for and awareness of breast cancer and is one of Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s founding partners. Our relationship with Breakthrough is so important, supporting the incredible work they do researching treatments and cures for breast cancer. But a few years ago we realised we wanted to do more to support this cause that effects so many women, something that felt a bit closer to home. Avon continued with their magnificent support for eleven years. We worked it out that with everything they donated they must have given over £200,000. In the latter years, with different staff in place they organised ‘in-house events’, football matches, pink themed days at the Headquarters in Northampton and at their base in Corby, which we always went along to. Their Sales Director, Paul Stephens ran the London Marathon for us and another in Mexico and attended a lot of our events.
