In the build up to the launch of my book I was often asked the question: “Am I in it?”
As already mentioned it is an impossible task to mention ‘everybody’ but my sincere thanks are extended to ‘everybody’ – including ‘Terry’! Now, Terry was one who didn’t ask if he would be in it – I told him he would be in it! Why? Terry was the one who kept me mobile – who ensured my car was well looked after – who, for many years, sold me my cars – and had to take a Valium tablet whenever Marilyn (who also had her cars from Central Garage in Irthlingborough)
and I walked through his door – Terry knowing that he would be in for a long and testing time when he tried to explain to us how everything worked – knowing we would be back because we didn’t understand!
He was very patient with us and we always had such laughs – even supporting him when he was diagnosed with cancer.
Thank you Terry and ‘thank you’ to Faryl too – your niece – she has a remarkable voice!
How incredibly lucky and grateful I am to have such amazing people in my life!
