Larger associations who place orders of £750 and over also get another 5% discount.
a paper order form which I collate and forward on to Kings Seeds. This takes a little more work as a summary sheet is required. The only thing we insist on is that people
select individual packing at the princely
sum of £1.65.Without this all the seeds are delivered as a group order and have to be sorted. The £1.65 pays for a sealed individual bag containing their seeds which is clearly labelled.
The bottom line is that it’s a good discount for members, a nice little earner for associations and excellent value for money.
Sterling Customer Service
Here are some comments from other scheme users highlighting the wonderful customer service that the Kings team offer.
Jenny from Scotland: “I use this scheme and highly recommend it. Last week I needed to make a change to an order and wondered
if it was possible. I phoned them and someone answered the phone (I wasn’t put in a queue and didn’t have to press any buttons on my key pad and I didn’t have to listen to any annoying music) - this is a terrific service from Kings Seeds - lovely people. Needless to say, they were able to amend my order and it arrived in the twinkling of an eye.”
Robbo (Facebook): “I always use Kings Seeds, when I order for other plotholders and myself and we get 50% off all seed orders. If
we ever have a problem with an order, which is very rare, Kings are always quick to rectify it.Their customer service is second to none. Ordering on their website is quick and easy. Each item in the actual or online catalogue comes with all the information you need for choosing the correct seeds, vegetables or fruit trees etc. along with all the sundries you may need for successful gardening.”
Pippa:“I’ve just saved my annual individual National Allotment Society membership fee (£23 pa) on a seed order via the Kings Seeds reduced price scheme which they run for the NAS. For example, Parsnip Gladiator £1.35
for 500 seeds vs their usual list price of £2.25, Carrot Early Nantes £1 for 2,000 seeds vs list price of £1.65 and Beetroot Boltardy £0.75 for 275 seeds vs £1.25 list price.Worth thinking about if you are a keen seed buyer and aren’t already a NAS member.”
