Intake 31 Reunion
Royal Military Academy Sandhurst from around the country to celebrate their special anniversary with us. For many this was the first time they had been back to RMAS in 70 years. Also attend- ing were members of their families and staff from Academy Headquarters.
The Sandhurst Trust had a day of events and dis- plays arranged including photographs and videos from their time as cadets. Also, on display were their personal records from their time here at the Academy. The day continued with the cadets and their families being treated to a lunch in the Indian
Army Memorial Room involving a special menu themed around food they would have eaten in 1948. The Spam Fritters went down extremely well! The Trust will run a similar event later in 2019 for members of intakes 3 and 4.
The Trust Facebook page has been revamped this year giving a mixture of news from around the Academy, historical posts and our popular #famousfriday featuring former cadets who have gone on to make a mark in life outside the Army. We had 2950 followers at the start of 2018 and 4100 by the end.
