CHARTER
FAIR
What a fabulous day!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped make this year’s fair a great success. Shops, stalls, entertainment, sponsors, local businesses, fairground rides, street entertainers and so much more.
A big thank you to John Sarrington for his huge contribution to an amazing classic car display – a first for the Charter Fair.
Thanks goes too, to all the volunteers on the day, especially members of the Youth Forum, who gave time to help make this possible.
If you feel that you could spare an hour or two on the day between 10am-7pm please get in touch. We’d like to start getting a group of volunteers ready for next year really soon.
who coped with the disruption of the road closures and the local shops and businesses who joined in the fun on the day.
Last, but by no means least, I would like to thank my fantastic Committee, who work so hard all through the year and on the day itself! We are a small group of local people who give our time freely (there are only nine of us). The Charter Fair is self-funding and we rely on grants and sponsorship to stage the fair.
Thank you all for the support you give me as Chairman. It is a privilege to be part of such a great group of volunteers. Thanks also to the whole Thrapston Community for supporting us. Lindsey Burch
Chairman of the best Committee in Town
I would also like to thank Thrapston residents
