Page 19 - Out Birding Spring 2023
P. 19

The juvenile Sabine’s was at Port Lympne for quite a few weeks, then a Sabine’s was reported at ‘The Patch’ Dungeness, an area of sea that is warmed by water pumped out from the power sta􏰀on which s􏰀rs up the fish and a􏰁racts feeding sea birds. I don’t know if this was the Port Lympne Juvenile but in early December when I was birding with Carol, Kath, Norma and Jeane􏰁e there was no sign of a Sabine’s at the Dungeness Patch.
