Red Rat Art Group.
In October 2013, Mercian wife and artist Justine Simpson Worboys started The Red Rat Art Group at Fallingbostel education centre.
Her aim for the group was to provide a place and space for members of the community to practice and create art.
Her method involved encouraging, inspiring and enabling participants to uncover their own inner artist so they could create their own original unique works of art, She guided and supported the group members to find out what style of painting and which materials worked best for them. Over time participants gained confidence and discovered they could produce of fantastic works of art, they surprised themselves at their own ability.
Justine also witnessed some members of the group discovering the healing benefits associated with creating art.
