Please support your library and its wonderful volunteers
The volunteers at the library have decided to close the library on Saturdays at 1pm instead of 2pm from now on, because there has been very little or no footfall, so the opening times notice has changed accordingly.
We have decided to hold Coffee Mornings, in the library, on the third
Wednesday of each month beginning with March 20th at 10.30am until
12noon. The second coffee morning will fall on the
Wednesday before Easter, which is April 17th and at that one, in addition, we will have a home-made
cakes and preserves stall, a tombola stall and
the usual second hand book sale. We will also have
which will have an Easter theme, as the children will be on their school holidays.
In the past, the library has always been closed over Easter, including Easter Saturday, so the volunteers have decided not to open the library either.
