                                THRAPSTON SCOUTS
the sections have been very busy...
    SCOUTS
The Scouts have been very busy: from hiking in Fermyn Woods to Camping at Overstone scout camp site. At the Scout camp they did Archery, went on the Cave Bus, cooked
At Thrapston we have 3 sections:
their own lunch and did fire lighting and marshmallows over the fire. A new activity that the Scouts tried was Canoeing!
BEAVERS
The Beavers have had an adventurous time. They have been hiking at Fermyn Woods, went on the assault course at Stanwick Lakes, did some experiments and worked on computers.
CUBS
Cubs have also has some adventures. They too have been hiking at Fermyn Woods, they have been canoeing like the Scouts, and helping in the community by doing a litter pick in the town. At their camp in May they did archery and tomahawk throwing.

• Scouts – for children between the ages of 10 to 14 years
In scouting, as part of the DofE we accept young people who want to do their volunteering with us.
We are on our summer break until 11th September. If you have a child that is interested, then please contact us.
We are a growing group that relies on volunteers to help run the sections and we are looking for adults to help in
