say that I was completely numb from the head down and surprised that I didn’t fall off the rower! All joking aside, our hard efforts seriously paid off as we nished the team event with a 3rd place in the Open category and 1st place in the Masters category!
After the prize giving we headed back to Barracks to freshen up, before heading into Gyor to celebrate our achievements with a team meal, some well-earned beers and a few rounds of arm wrestling with a local Hungarian giant!

In closing, to date this has been one of the best sports tours I have taken part in, inspiring me to take the sport to a higher level. The lads, the banter, the phys, the administration and the whole nine yards was absolutely second to none and full credit has to go to the organizer, SSgt Scott Pollock.
