St James Church was delighted to host the children from Thrapston Primary School during the Christmas season and to visit the Nursery. The children learnt about the true story of Christmas, the visit of the wise men to Jesus and the gifts they brought. During their visit the children sang, took part in a fun quiz – (do you know how many lorries full of brussels sprouts travel on our roads during the Christmas season?) – listened to the story, asked searching questions and completed two craft activities. One of the crafts was to make a star and over five hundred stars filled the church porch making a dazzling and glittery display.
