• If a problem with the cable is found, fix the issue by replacing or re-securing the cable
as needed, then check to see if the connection problem still exists.
Disconnect the USB cable from the Processor Module and connect the USB drive to the
Processor Module directly; check to see if the USB drive problem still exists.
• If the USB drive now works, this indicates a problem with the User Interface Board.
Contact Iris Power LP Technical Support for assistance.
• If the USB drive still does not work, this indicates a problem with the Processor Module.

7.8.2. USB Drive Data Transfer Failure
When the USB drive is properly detected, and data transfer begins the USB indicator will
be blinking green. If the USB indicate turns red, then a data transfer error has occurred.
Check the contents of the USB drive; the primary use of the USB drive in the GuardII+ is
to download data and there must be space on the drive to do this.
• If the USB drive is full, then delete non-critical data from the USB drive or try another
drive. Have at least 1.5 GB of free space on the USB drive; most GuardII+ downloads
will easily fit into 1.5 GB.
• If the USB drive is not full, then try another drive.
