Scholarship Program
In the 1990’s, an anonymous donor provided scholarship funds to support one student for the entirety of a Learning Project education—and the idea of
the current Community Scholarship Program was born. Over the years, several students, on a need basis, have been funded by various donors through the Community Scholarship Program for the duration of their LP careers.
The Community Scholarship Program further allows the school to remain accessible to a broad range of families. Interested parties are welcome to contact us about this opportunity. Donors, if they are able, can sponsor a child by themselves, or join with other like- minded donors to form a sponsorship group.

August Scholars
August Scholars is a three-week summer program targeting Boston children who will benefit from an academic boost mid- summer. It is aimed towards students who generally have limited access to strong academic summer programs, and thus, is offered tuition-free to its families.
It is held at two sites—The Learning Project and Suffolk University—and additional programming partners are brought to each location from The Community Music Center of Boston and the Tony Williams Dance Studio.
August Scholars began in the summer of 2008. Thanks to the generous support of the donors listed below, the program served 105 students this past summer.
