HOUSEKEEPING
• Keep the workplace tidy
• Store flammable liquids and combustible materials in a safe manner
• Do not store combustible materials under stairs, in roof voids or along escape routes SMOKING
• Provide a designated safe area
• Fill metal waste bins partly with damp sand
• Empty daily into a safe refuse container
• Consider banning smoking anywhere on the premises
