FIRE BLANKET
Method of use:
• Hold the blanket up to protect your face away from the body • Place carefully over the fryer, pan etc. ensuring that the fire
is completely covered
• This will put out the fire by smothering it
• Do not remove. Report the situation to your fire officer to deal with
Purpose:
To extinguish small, contained class B fires e.g. fryers and pan fires
Fire blanket container to be colour coded RED
