DRY POWDER EXTINGUISHER
2kg or 12kg stored pressure dry powder extinguisher
Method of use:
• Check pressure gauge
• Remove safety pin and tag. Hold the applicator in your
writing hand
• Operate the trigger device (short burst) to ensure function prior to going to the fire
• Direct the jet at the fire moving from side to side and front to rear in a sweeping motion building up a cloud of powder
• When fighting fuel fires take care as re-ignition may occur
Purpose:
To extinguish class B fires
