CO2 EXTINGUISHER
CO2 fire extinguisher (carbon dioxide)
Method of use:
• 2 kg type – turn the horn until it is at right angles to the cylinder 5 kg type – remove horn from clip
• Remove safety pin
• Ensure the extinguisher is kept in an upright position at all times
Purpose:
To extinguish small fires in electrical appliances i.e. computers etc.
Colour code: BLACK
• Operate the trigger device (short burst) to ensure function prior to going to the fire • Attack fire in rapid sweeping motions – side to side and front to rear
• Be prepared for re-ignition
• Read the instructions on the extinguisher
