FOAM EXTINGUISHER
9 litre stored pressure foam extinguisher
Method of use:
• Stand extinguisher upright
• Hold discharge hose in writing hand
• Remove safety pin
• Operate trigger device (short burst) to ensure function prior to going to the fire
• Direct the jet at the front edge of the fire
• Press the trigger and keep the jet moving from side to side
• When fighting flammable liquid fires use short bursts of foam. Interruption of flow allows the foam blanket to spread and seal the fire
Purpose:
To extinguish small class B
fires – flammable liquids, fats, oils
