              I.RATIONALE


              One of the services under the guidance program is the testing service which aims for a psychological
              evaluation of the students since some information about them cannot be fuliy conveyed through their
              personal data inventory, counseling sessions and interview alone. Psychological evaluation is of vital
              importance as it paves the way for us to know and understand more an individual and to at least have a
              basis on how to deal with him effectively as we are about to give the necessary assistance he needs for a
              better transformation. It is for this reason that a functional guidance program includes psychological
              testing geared towards assessing an individual's level of intelligence, his interests, abilities, personality
              types and to determine arising conflict within him as well. Standardized and non-standardized
              psychological test s are being used through proper administration, scoring and interpretation are
              applied and psychological test results are treated confidential and secured.

              II.GENERAL OBJECTIVES
                                                                                              I

                     The testing program has the following objectives:

                  1.To gather pertinent additional information about student-clienteles;
                  2.To assess a student-clientele's level of interests, abilities, intelligence, personality types and
                     arising conflict within them; and
                  3.To utilized individual test result in giving necessary assistance to the student-clienteles.




               III.IMPLEMENTATION

                     Different psychological tests are administered properly to targeted clienteles individually or in
                     groups as it applies. Tests are then scored and interpreted as to stated norms and results shall
                     be explained to student-clienteles.

               IV.EVALUATION

                     An evaluation concerning the testing service shall be utilized to determine the extent to which
                     the objectives are being attained and to provide a periodic check on the effectiveness of the
                     program as basis for devising remedial measures which are of importance in strengthening the
                     program.
