INDEPENDENCE DAY


              Shri  BS  Mootha  Girls  Senior  Secondary
              School celebrated Independence Day with
              great  enthusiasm  and  patriotism  on  15
              August  2023.  The  school  premises  were
              adorned  with  tricolor  decorations,  setting
              the stage for a day filled with stirring events.
              The event commenced with an invocation to
              the Almighty. The highlight of the day was
              the presence of the esteemed Chief Guest,
              Dr. C N Gangadaran , Honorary Consul of
              the  Republic  of  Mongolia  for  Tamil  Nadu.
              The  rhythmic  beats  of  the  school  band
              reverberated across the school campus as
              they welcomed the honourable Chief guest.
              The  Chairman  Mr.  Prakash  Sacheti,  the
              Managing  Trustee  Mr.  L  Dharmichand
              Singhvi,  the  Vice  President,  Mr.Harish
              Metha, the Secretary Mr. Vijay Kothari, the
              Correspondent Mr. Kishan Srisrimal Jain, the
              Management  members  and  the  Principal
              Mrs. Swarnalatha Gopalakrishnan were also
              present,  adding  to  the  grandeur  of  the

                                                            flag,  their  hearts  swelling  with  pride.  The  whole
                                                            campus echoed with the rhythmic rendition of the
                                                            National  Flag  Song;  a  melodic  reminder  of  the
                                                            sacrifices made by the freedom fighters. Speeches
                                                            delivered  in  English,  Hindi,  and  Tamil  by  the
                                                            students captured the essence of India's linguistic
                                                            diversity.  The  cultural  mosaic  of  India  came  alive
                                                            through  mesmerizing  music  and  dance
                                                            performances.  The  Chief  guest,  in  his  address,
                                                            emphasized  the  importance  of  unity  and
                                                            cooperation  among  nations,  highlighting  global
                                                            peace and prosperity. The crescendo of the event
                                                            reached  its  pinnacle  with  the  vote  of  thanks
                                                            followed by the collective rendition of the National
                                                            Anthem.
