In 1999, Carla and her family embarked on
their first vacation with their newborn son
Bret. Hoping for a relaxing week away, they
encountered a challenge when Bret, unable to
grasp his pacifier, became upset. In a stroke
of inspiration, Carla used the hotel sewing kit
to attach his beloved plush toy to the pacifier.
Thus, the first WubbaNub was born.
