"They eat meat but they don't know it. Pork, beef, veal, insects are everywhere, even in
dairy products.
Why? Because manufacturers can use products derived from animals without being
obliged to mention them on the label!
And when they decide to mention them, these animal derivatives are hidden
under names that are unfamiliar to us. Or even incomprehensible.
"Industrialists manage to ensure that consumers do not understand the labels," accuses
Christophe Brusset. An industrialist in the food industry for more than 20 years, an
industry he eventually deserted, he has told in two books the edifying story behind the
scenes of industrial food production.
It is interesting to read books that allow you to eat healthier and thus cut out some of the
dividends of the big food multinationals.

Klaus was probably one of the Committee members who
was the most know by the retirees living in Switzerland. He
was conversant in Swiss legislation and taxation.
Furthermore he always put the priority to defend AAFI-
AFICS’ interests by encouraging the affiliation to our
association. One committee members, Gerald Walzer,
could attend the ceremony. We also spent a few minutes to
recall what Klaus was for us during a Committee meeting.
We shall deeply miss him and his kindness.
