Bringing the Concept to Life
Alongside regional organizations and parliamentarian, UNOG attaches the
utmost importance to cooperation with all other actors on the world scene -
such as local authorities, mass-media and NGOs, which have their largest
representation here in Geneva.
In conclusion, I would like to emphasize that what has been achieved is
due both to the close cooperation within the UN family in Geneva, and to the
increasing partnership between the international community and the Swiss
authorities. This mutually enriching horizontal and vertical cooperation is the
new trademark of Geneva International which ensures its future in the 21st
century.
