WOULD LIKE
We use would like or 'd like to say politely what we want, especially
when making offers and request. Verbs that follow would like are
in
the to-infinitive form.

Example :
Would you like a biscuit with your coffee?
WOULD RATHER
Would rather is used to show a choice form different options.
* Subject + would rather + V
Example :
I would rather go to a different restaurant.
