Center Dear Friends,

Soroka is one of Israel's leading medical centers and
the only tertiary medical center in southern Israel.
We provide care to more than 1 million people who
reside in a region that comprises 60% of the land area
of the country. Soroka's mission is of critical strategic
importance to the State of Israel.

As a long-time resident of the South and having
received my medical education at Soroka Medical
Center from medical school and residency onward, I
am a strong believer in the importance of the Negev to
the State of Israel and of Soroka to the Negev. Soroka
fulfills the vision of excellence, collaboration, and
interaction between medicine and the community.

There is a quality and an intimacy here that exists
nowhere else in Israel.

I am grateful for your support and friendship, and look
forward to partnering with you to further advance
Soroka and, through Soroka, to strengthen Israel.
