   Member Engagement with our Centennial
By November 29, 2019, we will have celebrated our centennial with over 5,000 members through great events, publications and special efforts.
• Our online clearinghouse for all things centennial — MFB100.COM — has accumulated more than 10,500 page views from 6,600 users since its inception in 2018.
• To kick off our celebration of MFB’s first 100 years, more than 1,000 attendees at our 2018 Annual Meeting walked through our museum-style history exhibit in the Welsh Lobby.
• After recreating the organization’s “founding fathers” photo of 1919, all 65 current county Farm Bureau presidents took part in ceremonies commemorating MFB’s 100th birthday where it all began, on the campus of Michigan State University.
• More than 1,700 Farm Bureau members from across the state attended our come-one, come-all Centennial Celebration at Farm Bureau Center on June 14, 2019.
• Throughout our centennial year, 212 member-volunteers in 51 county Farm Bureaus joined Local History Teams to collect, organize and share materials documenting the legacy of agriculture in their own local communities.
• Thirteen unique “Page From the Past” features ran in Michigan Farm News’ print edition throughout 2019, each reaching 29,000 Farm Bureau members statewide.
• More than 1,300 attendees at MFB’s 2020 Annual Meeting celebrated 100 years of service to Michigan farmers at the organization’s Centennial Gala, the capstone event marking the conclusion of our yearlong centennial celebration.
