   Data/Communications Project Team Update
2018 - 2020 MFB Strategic Business Plan
  Remaining 2020 Focus
• Re-connecting with members who have unsubscribed from communications.
• Develop tools for CAMs on how to reach members outside of the county’s leadership positions and involve members that otherwise would not be. Require, within on-boarding, a segment teaching new CAMs how to properly collect and maintain member data.
• Work with FBI Marketing to grow collection of email, cell phone and addresses by:
• Creation of materials/information for agents and agency staff on the process and requirements of data collection for our members.
• Creating a quarterly column inside Agent Advisor highlighting benefits of good data.
• Work with Bill Hodges and SalesForce team to package data collection importance inside of new CRM conversations.
• Identify “low hanging fruit” and quick-win action items from the lean faciliation and communiations survey. Create a formal implementation strategy for improvements to existing regular member communications, county staff training and agent membership information.
Results and Future Recommendations
The Farm Bureau Family of Companies Data Governance Committee create a report of known, correct member emails, cell phone numbers and addresses including data source.
Determination of the per member economic benefit to the Family of Companies of correct email, cell phone and address per member (e.g. reduced mailings, increased use of Salesforce, increased social media reach, enhanced customer experience, increased customer retention, etc.)
Development of a goal for increasing correct member emails, cell phone numbers and addresses that is incorporated into the employee bonus program and agent incentives.
