Spring is HERE! The clocks have been set forward! More
daylight, warmer temps! Let the monthly drives and
British Cars and Coffee officially begin.
Let?s Go Driving!
The March British cars and coffee was in the 20s, but a
few brave souls took to the roads and met up at the new
C & C location at the Christ Community Church. A good
time was had by all as they talked cars and tried to stay We're Growing
warm.

In March we had a last minute event on the 23rd as the renowned ?MGA Guru?, Barney John & Susan
Gaylord, made a two hour meet and greet appearance at The Vintage Classic Garage in Looney
Franklin. 1985 Rolls Royce
A number of fans showed up to say 'hi' and to ask questions about the classic MGA and Silver Spur,
hear his stories about traveling the US for the last nine years with his son. The Gaylords Centenary edition
drive from town to town visiting various British car clubs as a hobby. What a life!
Next, I have an update article on my engine rebuild for my TR6 in this issue, beginning on
page 35. It's coming along and I can't wait to get back to driving Tennessee's backroads.
We're still looking for a few more hosts for our monthly Club Dinners. If you'd like to
volunteer to host a dinner, please let me know at NashvilleBrit ishCarClub@gmail.com.
We can do this all year round. Let?s keep it going!
Remember to RSVP for the May 6th Coronation Big Lunch at Snug Harbor Farm in

Full information for the Coronation lunch is on pages 6-7 of this issue and the event is
just around the corner. ( Some of our new members named at right have stately cars
that would be a perfect fit for the Coronation Lunch Show up and Shine portion of the
day. Who will be crowned the king and Queen of Motoring? That remains to be seen.
