The presentation ceremony held at
Windsor Castle came just over a month
after the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Queen had memorably appeared
with Bond ( Craig) and the Corgis in a
surprise video for the opening
ceremonies of the Olympic Games that
were held in London.
The tweet from The Royal Family
featured the phrase " We've been
expecting you." a nod to Bond fans who
will remember the catch phrase used
in Bond movies over the years.
Craig debuted as 007 in 2006 in a
remake of Casino Royale and finished
007 (spectacularly) off in 2021 with his
last appearance as the agent in No
Time to Die.
