Disney's version of t he Cave of Wonders, first imagined in Ali Baba and t he 40
Thieves. Luckily, t his Cave is hiding not in Arabia but in a quiet resident ial neighborhood in
Franklin, Tennessee. Rat her t han making an appearance from a sand dune, t he real life lift ing of
a garage door by Mike Long, brought fort h an immediat e response from me (minus t he monkey)

t hat mirrored t he dialogue in t he 1992 film, Aladdin, ? Would you look at that ?!?

In the film, it's Frank Welker?s
voice, doing his best imitation
as Sean Connery, cautioning, ?
Touch nothing but the lamp!?
Yet, once in the cave it was
hard to keep your hands off.

Mike , as host, played the role
of the very helpful magic
carpet, happy to point out
where the treasures were
hiding. He was the genial
guide through the trove of
treasure stacked all around.

As high as the eye could see
and as deep as an arm could
reach, every piece, every
object had its own story, and
every piece was a part of
British motoring history--
