HOMETEX TECH EXPO 2020 at
PANIPAT, Haryana.
Panipat, is a historic city in Haryana,
Rajesh Sinha
India. The city is famous in India as the
"Home Textile ". The city is globally
known and has more than 4000 small
and big units, where approximately 3
lakh labourers work. Panipat is a centre
of handloom products where carpets,
cushions, velvet cushions, sofa fabrics,
bed sheets, curtains, Door mats and
towels among other things are
manufactured. In a recent years
Panipat has also developed some
industry for producing Shoe upper units
to attract low cost casual and formal
shoe industry. ,Besides, it has also
become a hub of the recycling industry,
resulting in the production of yarn out of
discarded clothes.
