DAY 17
The Meaning of Prosperity
Prosperity is your divine right. Ninety percent of your
success comes from your mind and 10 percent [comes
from] outer action.
— Catherine Ponder
Neuroscientists at Princeton University found that when they looked
at the performance of people in organized versus disorganized envi-
ronments, they found that physical clutter actually reduced people’s
ability to focus and process information. Clutter decreases performance
and increases stress, and it creates blocks to your energy flow. This is
especially true in your financial life if you avoid looking at your bank
account or you stuff bills in a drawer.
You begin to clean it up by taking one step at a time. Choose one
area at a time to work on your finances; for instance, you might choose
to clean out your desk drawers first, maybe only one a week.
Clutter can be physical, but the roots of it can be spiritual or emo-
tional. To live up to your true potential, you must learn to clean up
that mental clutter, or you can’t manifest what you want. If your beliefs
align you with fear instead of abundance and prosperity, you will live in
misalignment and wonder why you have to work so hard for so little.
