Welcome

Dear Parents/Guardians and Future Students,

On behalf of the staff and current students of Our Lady of Mercy College we would like to
warmly welcome you into our school community.

Our Lady of Mercy College was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1957 and has been

educating the young ladies of Beaumont and the surrounding areas for over 60 years. We are

now part of CEIST - Catholic Education, an Irish Schools Trust. Our team of dedicated staff will

continue that tradition and do their very best to help and support your daughter to reach her full

potential.

We are aware that the move from Primary School to Secondary School is a big step but by

working together we can make the transition as smooth as possible. This booklet contains lots

of information and we hope it answers many of your questions. Due to the current Covid-19

restrictions it is not possible for us to have a face-to-face meeting with you at the moment but as

soon as this becomes a possibility we will organise it.

We look forward to getting to know you and working with you over the next 5 or 6 years.
