information that is stated or implied to answer a
question.

improve performance
• Introduce and Apply Reading Skills
• Apply ACT Reading Strategies
o Developcomfortandfamiliaritywiththepages required for the ACT Reading test.
o Refertothepassageswhenansweringquestions. o Readpassagesandanswerquestionsaccordingto
personal preference, not necessarily in the order of the
test design.
o Lookforanswersthataresupporteddirectlyand
specifically in the text. Recheck your answers whenever
possible.

or contradictory to the correct answer.
