               VII. Awards Of Distinction And Achievement And Grants Of This Program/
               Best Practices Adopted

               a.  Seminars and Trainings

                       The benefits and value of training and development act like a domino effect;
               faculty feel competent and can efficiently influence students’ performance; happy
               and skilled faculty create job satisfaction, commitment and thus retention; teaching
               workforce  improvement  and  engagement  impacts  the  overall  university
               achievement..

                       Once the seminars and trainings approved by the President, in return, it has
               been a practice that the faculty participants  conduct echo seminar or share the
               gained knowledge and resources to other faculty members.

                       In addition to the benefits of learning and professional development through
               attendance, participation and conduct of seminars and trainings, these activities
               can provide additional points for upgrading of Academic Rank of each faculty.


               b.  Affiliation in Professional Organizations

                       Foremost among benefit of faculty professional affiliation is to be updated on
               the  oversight  and  regulation  of  professional  standards  and  practices  to  better
               function and serve the public interest.

                       Secondly to provide a venue for members to communicate and network with
               each other, through conventions, meetings, and trade publications. Lastly, for them
               to be provided with resources for ongoing learning and career advancement

               c.  Development Research
                       The  College  takes  great  pride  in  the  scholarly,  research  and  creative
               contributions of each faculty and researchers.

                       Engaging on research development provides an avenue for faculty members
               to  fostering  critical  thinking  and  analytical  skills  through  hands-on  learning,
               defining  academic,  career  and  personal  interests,  expand  knowledge  and
               understanding of a chosen field outside of the classroom, developing connections
               with distinguished industry and linkages in their field and build community with
               peers, faculty and organizations on- and off-campus.
